Sixteen Leading Higher Education Institutions Unite to Shape the Future of Urban Health and Well-being in Thailand
The collaboration among 16 leading higher education institutions in Thailand marks more than the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU); it represents a significant step toward laying the foundation for a healthier future for the Thai people.
The Urban Health and Well-being Academic Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, together with 15 partner higher education institutions, the National Health Commission Office (NHCO), and other health and well-being partners, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a strong academic network. The collaboration aims to advance public policy, strengthen mechanisms for urban health and well-being, enhance the capacity of personnel, and disseminate academic knowledge for the benefit of society.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, appointed Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaysang, Vice President for Student Affairs, to represent the University in signing the Memorandum of Understanding.
Also attending the ceremony were Assistant Professor Dr. Pimchana Sribunyaprat, Head of the Department of Public Administration, and Police Major General Dr. Nitipat Kittiraksakul, Lecturer at the College of Politics and Government, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.The ceremony took place at Diamond Dome 1, 22nd Floor, Queensland Hotel, Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, on 5 August 2026.
