On August 13, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Chakkawan Sukmaitri, Vice Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance, together with Mr. Rattanaphak Rungsong, Acting Head of the Planning and Quality Assurance Division, College of Politics and Governance, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the Educational Quality Development for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) Project for Fiscal Year 2026, under the theme “Enhancing Approaches to Writing SA-EdPEx”, held at Chorkaew Conference Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok.
The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Witthaya Mek-kham, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, who presided over the opening ceremony and emphasized the importance of driving educational quality development in accordance with the EdPEx criteria. The initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of management within the university’s internal units and promote organizational excellence.
The training featured Assistant Professor Choenchok Sornkhwan, Vice Dean for Planning and Quality Development, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, as the guest speaker. He shared knowledge and practical experience on implementing the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx).
The activity included a lecture on “The Heart of EdPEx” (EdPEx Mindset), decoding questions based on the EdPEx criteria to gain a deeper understanding of the key issues sought by assessors, and applying EdPEx as a management tool for educational organizations. The session also covered support systems, operations aligned with the criteria, organizational results, and continuous organizational development through EdPEx Maturity.
Participation in this project forms part of the College of Politics and Government ’s efforts to strengthen its capabilities in planning and quality assurance. It also serves to prepare personnel to apply knowledge and approaches based on the EdPEx criteria to improve operational processes, management practices, and organizational quality, thereby enhancing efficiency and aligning with the university’s direction toward educational quality development and organizational excellence.
