On March 17, 2026, the College of Politics and Government, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the project entitled “Promoting Moral and Ethical Awareness Based on Good Governance Principles for the Fiscal Year 2026.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Chakkrawan Sukmaitree, Associate Dean for Planning and Quality Assurance.

The project featured a lecture and workshop on the topic “Good Governance Principles for Personal and Social Development,” delivered by Phra Wattanawachiramethi, Ph.D. (Theerawit Chandavicho). The speaker shared valuable insights on applying good governance principles to daily life, education, and professional practice in order to foster morality, ethics, social responsibility, and good citizenship in a democratic society. Students from the College of Politics and Governance participated in the program both on-site at Rajadhiwas Rajavaravihara Temple, Bangkok, and online.

The project aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, understanding, and awareness of the importance of morality, ethics, and good governance principles. Participants were encouraged to apply these principles to personal development, professional responsibilities, and social interactions, contributing to the creation of a transparent, accountable society committed to the public interest.

Through their participation, students gained knowledge of the six principles of good governance: the Rule of Law, Morality, Transparency, Participation, Accountability, and Value for Money. They also learned how Buddhist principles can be applied to personal development, the cultivation of public-mindedness, and ethical leadership in contemporary society.
