On September 24, 2026, the Student Affairs Division of the College of Politics and Governmen, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, extended its heartfelt congratulations to the student leaders of the College of Politics and Governance Student Union on winning the 1st Runner-Up award in the Social Engineer Skills Enhancement Project Presentation Competition for Student Leaders. The award was presented for their project, "Thai Silk with a Lion’s Heart: Preserving Local Wisdom, Driving Towards Sustainability."
The project aims to apply the Social Engineer framework (Soft Skills) to real-world community contexts by engaging in field research, identifying and analyzing local issues, building upon traditional wisdom, and developing concrete strategies to create sustainable value for the community.
The presentation was delivered using a narrative storytelling approach, showcasing the students' complete journey—from field execution and the implementation of social engineering tools to innovation development and the resulting Student-Based Outcomes (SBO) and community impacts. The work was evaluated based on the following key elements:
- Completeness and clarity of content
- Practical application of social engineer tools
- Benefits and value delivered to the community
- Innovation derived from project implementation
- Student learning outcomes and capacity building
Competition Results:
- Winner: College of Allied Health Sciences
- 1st Runner-Up: College of Politics and Governmen
- 2nd Runner-Up: Faculty of Education
This success reflects the strong potential of our student leaders in transforming theoretical social engineer principles into actionable practice, while demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and a dedicated commitment to delivering sustainable benefits to society.
