
On July 27, 2026, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony for academic cooperation between the Royal Thai Air Force and higher education institutions at the Boripat Reception Room, Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, assigned Associate Professor Police Lieutenant General Dr. Santhan Chayanon, Dean of the College of Politics and Governance, as the university’s representative to sign the academic cooperation agreement with the Royal Thai Air Force.
The ceremony was presided over and signed by Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force. Senior executives of the Royal Thai Air Force also attended to honor the event, including Air Chief Marshal Prapas Sornjaidee, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force; Air Marshal Wisnu Niamkham, Deputy Chief of Air Staff; Air Marshal Yuttasak Poonsuwan, Director-General of the Directorate of Education and Training, RTAF; and Air Marshal Viroch Phayanoy, Director-General of the Directorate of Personnel, RTAF.
This academic cooperation MOU was established between the Royal Thai Air Force and three higher education institutions, comprising Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, and North Bangkok University. The objectives are to promote and support educational and academic cooperation, curriculum development, knowledge and experience sharing, as well as capacity building for military personnel, university staff, faculty members, and students to equip them with knowledge and skills aligned with societal and national transformations.
Furthermore, this collaboration aims to promote joint academic activities, research, academic services, and network building between the Royal Thai Air Force and higher education institutions. This integration of resources and knowledge from each entity will generate concrete and sustainable benefits for personnel development and society.
During the ceremony, the Director-General of the Directorate of Personnel, RTAF, presented a report on the objectives of the event. Subsequently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force and representatives from the three universities signed the agreement, exchanged souvenirs, and took group photographs together.
This collaboration reflects the prominent role of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in establishing cooperative networks with national security agencies and higher education institutions. It also elevates educational management, human resource development, and knowledge sharing among agencies to collectively serve and benefit society and the nation moving forward.
