On February 2, 2026, the Student Affairs Division of the College of Politics and Government,, led by Mr. Boriboon Chalong, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, together with staff members of the Student Affairs Division and student representatives, participated in the project “Study Visit to Learning Resources Based on the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy: Building New-Generation Citizens with Social Responsibility through Learning Management Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” at the Baan Khong Por Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

During the activity, participants gained valuable out-of-classroom learning experiences through hands-on learning processes, including learning local wisdom from community scholars, designing and developing sustainable learning spaces, and engaging in practical activities such as rice planting.

This activity aimed to promote learning through out-of-classroom learning resources, providing students with opportunities to gain real-life experiences based on the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, while integrating knowledge related to sustainable development. The initiative sought to enhance students’ life skills, social responsibility, and competencies as quality global citizens.

The activity was also aligned with and contributed to the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 4: Quality Education through experiential learning and the development of learners’ skills
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities through learning about community lifestyles and local wisdom
  • SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production based on the principles of the Sufficiency Economy
  • SDG 13: Climate Action by raising awareness of the responsible and efficient use of natural resources

This activity not only aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding, but also fostered awareness of sufficiency, social responsibility, and sustainable development, preparing students to become quality global citizens in the future.
