
On Thursday, 19 February 2026, the College of Politics and Government implemented the project titled “Enhancing the Grassroots Economy Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Ranong Province for Fiscal Year 2026.” The project aims to strengthen knowledge and develop the capacity of local communities, enabling them to apply the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in their daily lives and career development in a stable, prosperous, and sustainable manner.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Pol. Lt. Gen. Dr. Santhan Chayonnont, Dean of the College of Politics and Government, assigned Assistant Professor Dr. Theerawat Poomdara and Dr. Yaowalak Chaobanpho, together with students and staff, to jointly organize and carry out the project activities.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Chaiwat Phueakong, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, College of Politics and Government. The event was also honored by Mr. Ekachai Cherdchoopong, who served as a guest speaker, delivering a lecture on approaches to enhancing the grassroots economy based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in order to strengthen communities in Ranong Province.
This project reflects the College of Politics and Government’s commitment to integrating academic knowledge into social services, supporting the stable and sustainable growth of the grassroots economy in the future.
