On 27 November 2025, the Bachelor of Political Science program at the College of Politics and Government, led by Dr. Saroj Boonsermwanna, Head of the Political Science Concentration, organized a training program on academic and research article writing techniques for Political Science students. The objective was to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of academic and research writing techniques in accordance with academic standards. The program also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange research experiences, enabling them to develop research reports and academic articles suitable for publication in national and international journals. The session was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Wanchak Noijan, Dean of the Graduate School, who served as the guest lecturer, with Dr. Suebsawas Wuttiworadit, Head of the Political Science Program, presiding over the event. The training took place at Kho Kaeo Conference Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

This training program on academic and research article writing helped Political Science students develop accurate knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of academic and research writing. Students gained the ability to apply these concepts systematically in preparing research reports and articles for publication. Moreover, the program enhanced essential 21st-century competencies such as analytical thinking, data synthesis, and academic communication. It also fostered a research-oriented culture within the program, increasing opportunities for students and faculty to produce scholarly work in national and international journals. Additionally, the program enabled students to exchange research experiences with the lecturer and peers, contributing to the development of academic networks and elevating the quality of Political Science graduates with evidence-based knowledge for analyzing and advancing work in politics, governance, and the public sector—aligning with the university’s strategic goals of producing high-quality graduates and scholarly outputs.

Furthermore, the program aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through enhancing learners’ academic and research skills for future study and employment; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by promoting knowledge creation and research outputs that can be developed into social and policy innovations; and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, as it strengthens students’ analytical abilities in political and governance issues based on data and empirical evidence, thereby contributing to more effective, transparent, and accountable political and public institutions in the long run.
