The training project on legal knowledge to improve the quality of life of prisoners was organized by the Justice Innovation Development Division on 13 June 2025, 3-4 and 7-9 July 2025 at Thonburi Women's Correctional Institution, 6 times, with 40 prisoners participating in the training. The project aims to promote knowledge and understanding of laws related to daily life for prisoners. The project was honored by the presence of qualified speakers, including Assistant Professor Thanawat Phisitchinda, Mr. Chaturong Phuemrungruang from the College of Politics and Governance, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Ms. Ritthisa Thepchomphu, Legal Officer, SPJ Law Office and Consult Co., Ltd., and Pol. Lt. Col. Pornnipa Inthachiansiri, Deputy Director of the Law Development Group, Legal Division, Royal Thai Police, who were responsible for sharing knowledge and providing legal advice in the form of questions and answers. The training content covers various laws, such as civil law, criminal law, procedural law, and new laws, such as the Court of Justice Announcement B.E. 2568 on the duration of trial. Including contemporary laws such as the Royal Decree on the Prevention and Suppression of Technology Crimes B.E. 2568 (No. 2), Narcotics Laws (Announcement of the Ministry of Public Health on Controlled Herbs (Cannabis) B.E. 2568), Corrections Laws, Amnesty Laws, etc. The activities were conducted with an assessment of the learning outcomes of the participants through pre- and post-training tests. The evaluation results showed that the inmates had tangible developments in their knowledge and understanding of the law, resulting in a change in attitudes towards quality reintegration into society. In addition, the inmates who passed the training criteria will receive a certificate, which is a certification that the inmates have undergone a systematic and efficient legal learning process.
