On February 13, 2025, the Justice Innovation Development Division organized the second legal training program to improve the quality of life for inmates at the Special Women's Correctional Institution in Pathum Thani. The session was led by Assistant Professor Thanawat Phisitjinda and Mr. Jaturong Permrungreung, both lecturers in the Law Program at the College of Politics and Government, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. A total of 28 inmates participated in the training.
In this training session, the speakers provided knowledge on laws related to property, assets, family law, and newly amended legislation, including the Marriage Equality Act and inheritance law. The objective was to equip inmates with basic legal knowledge to help them reintegrate into society with an understanding of legal matters and modern social life.
Additionally, legal consultations were offered to address various legal concerns, alleviate anxiety, and reduce stress. Inmates also participated in pre- and post-training assessments and were encouraged to strive toward becoming productive members of society. The inmates actively engaged in discussions, expressing their opinions and asking questions effectively.
