"On December 22-23, 2024, Assistant Professor Kwanta Benjakhan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mathinee Kongsathit, Mr. Wacharakorn Chelayprach, and Mr. Ittichet Kalasuwan organized a workshop on developing the quality of life and upgrading the grassroots economy to create a spatial development plan at the sub-district level in Khlong Nok Krathung Sub-district, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province under the project to increase the value of products and services to increase income for grassroots communities in Nakhon Pathom Province, fiscal year 2025.

This sub-district-level spatial development plan is a survey of basic information in Khlong Nok Krathung Sub-district, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province, and a plan to implement activities to improve the quality of life of people in the area by increasing the value of products and services to increase income for grassroots communities in Nakhon Pathom Province, such as developing products from local raw materials and reusing waste, analyzing SWOT in the community, and determining career development activities/product development that are consistent with the household context, including effective waste management. In addition, tools that help reduce costs and increase income were introduced, such as the development of social innovations (Paradigm Shift) and promoting online marketing channels. In addition, the College of Politics and Governance has also created a collaboration with a network partner, namely the Water Hyacinth Weaving Community Enterprise of Ban Khlong Nok Krathung, Nakhon Pathom Province, with Mr. Atsakorn Panphet as a speaker to share knowledge on this occasion.

The above activities are in line with several Sustainable Development Goals, including:
Goal 1: Eradicate poverty by increasing economic opportunities and raising the income of grassroots communities
Goal 8: Decent employment and economic growth by promoting job creation through product development and marketing
Goal 12: Sustainable consumption and production by supporting efficient resource use and reducing waste
