The Bachelor of Political Science Program organized a field seminar at the Bankruptcy Court to enhance students’ direct experience in the judicial process.

Led by Dr. Saroj Boonsermwan, Head of the Political Science major under the Faculty of Political Science and Social Sciences, the program aimed to provide students majoring in Political Science — specializing in Politics and Government as well as International Relations — with opportunities to learn and gain a practical understanding of judicial procedures from legal experts and justice system professionals.

The activity focused on allowing students to exchange experiences with practitioners at the Bankruptcy Court, a key institution in Thailand’s justice system. Through this, students gained insights into case proceedings related to business rehabilitation, personal and corporate bankruptcy, and the legal principles connected to economic and business dimensions in relation to public administration.

Moreover, the project helped students bridge theoretical knowledge from the classroom with real-world practices within the national judicial administration system. It also encouraged awareness of the interconnections between law, economics, and politics, which form the foundation for developing a modern public administration system.

The seminar atmosphere was warm and engaging. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives with legal professionals, and learn from real case studies presented by court officials. This provided new insights and was an important part of promoting experiential learning, which the Bachelor of Political Science Program has continuously emphasized.
