The Bachelor of Political Science Program, College of Politics and Government, led by Dr. Saroj Boonsermwann, Head of the Political Science and Governance Division, together with faculty members and 40 students from the Bachelor of Political Science Program, participated in an educational field trip and study visit to the National Memorial and the Learning Center of the Office of Policy and Planning, Ministry of Defence, on May 6, 2026, at Khu Khot Subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province.
On this occasion, Major General Win Wijitrawatkarn, Director of the Office of Policy and Planning, Ministry of Defence, warmly welcomed the faculty members and students. He also guided the group through the permanent royal exhibition galleries, including Exhibition Rooms 901, 902, and 904, which showcase the royal biography, royal benevolence, and working principles of His Majesty the King. The exhibitions aimed to inspire young people to recognize His Majesty’s invaluable contributions to the Thai people.
In addition, the students visited the National Memorial, an important learning center for Thai national and military history, where modern technology has been integrated into the exhibitions to enhance understanding and foster patriotism. The group also visited the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, which applies the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to practical daily living as an essential guideline for sustainable self-reliance.
This study visit was organized as part of the program’s initiative to promote experiential learning outside the classroom, enabling students to gain firsthand experience while broadening their knowledge in political science, history, national security, and social development in a comprehensive manner.
