On 29 May 2026, the College of Politics and Government conducted a progress monitoring meeting for the “Grassroots Economic Development Project Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy” in Had Som Paen Subdistrict, Mueang Ranong District, Ranong Province. The project is being implemented under the “Grassroots Economic Development Project Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Ranong Province” for the Fiscal Year 2026. The meeting was held at the Had Som Paen Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Ranong District, Ranong Province.
This initiative was assigned by Associate Professor Police Lieutenant General Dr. Santhan Chayanon, Dean of the College of Politics and Government, who appointed Assistant Professor Dr. Theerawat Pumdara and Dr. Yaowalak Chaobanpho, together with project staff, to carry out the project activities.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Chaiwat Phueakkhong, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services of the College of Politics and Government, attended the meeting to monitor project progress and provide recommendations for further development. His guidance aimed to enhance the effectiveness of project implementation and maximize sustainable benefits for local communities in Ranong Province.
The project seeks to promote and strengthen community-based economic development in accordance with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. It focuses on building resilient grassroots economies while encouraging efficient resource management, environmental sustainability, and the long-term improvement of the quality of life of people in the area.
