
On May 30–31 and June 1–2, 2025, Ms. Khwanta Benchakhan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mathinee Kongsatit, Mr. Watcharakorn Chaloeyprach, Mr. Ittichet Kalasuwan, and Ms. Yosita Somcharoen organized an activity under the project “Enhancing the Value of Products and Services to Increase Income for Grassroots Communities in Nakhon Pathom Province” for the 2025 fiscal year. The sub-activity was a hands-on training workshop on quality of life development and grassroots economic empowerment to formulate a local development plan at the sub-district level, specifically in Khlong Nok Krathung Sub-district, Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
This activity aimed to transfer knowledge and provide tools to target households to reduce expenses and increase income as a means of poverty alleviation. The workshop covered topics such as basic bag sewing and decoration, adding value through embellishments using silk scraps and genuine leather, designing bag patterns and styles, and calculating costs and pricing. The training took place at the Khlong Nok Krathung Water Hyacinth Weaving Community Enterprise in Nakhon Pathom Province, with honored guest speakers Mr. Sanguan Chantasawat and Ms. Jintana Sanga sharing their expertise with the community.
The project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
